nuts or not?

on all of my plants that are about 3 weeks into flowring they all have hella buds on them but on each side of the stem they have these two ball type things...but they all have a white or orange pistil coming out of them. and they aren't grouped together or anything like that so are they nuts?

Mine are having the same thing. I'm not sure if its a herm or not :(

If they have pistils coming out of them they are most likley pre-flowers which form on all female plants before they flower. A pic would make it a lot easier to confirm tho. Male pre-flowers look like a bunch of grapes.
