I am being tested for a new position at Labcorp and upon doing some research it appears they do the GC/MS test right off the bat. I am 5'4, weigh 100lbs, extreme metabolism and have been a fairly constant smoker forever now but will have 72 hours clean upon testing if I do use my own. I'm thinking of substituting just to be safe, however, a friend of mine who tests for parole uses Ready Clean with great results. I'm afraid that's because they do the simple cup test vs GC/MS. Any ideas?

I would really doubt you will be clean that fast. I certainly wouldn't rely on that for a new job. Sub. Its the safest way and the only 100% course of action.

thanks dude. I went ahead and used my sons, lil shampoo bottle wrapped in hand warmers, held in place with panties and PANTYHOSE (women, this is key, great for warmth and holding everything in place before and after). Had to wait 10 minutes but the temp on the bottle came in at 94 degrees, so I was good to go!

BTW I think you're wrong about it going straight to GC/MS. I have never seen a test go straight to GC/MS. They send them through immunoassay first then non-negatives are confirmed with GC/MS. They make more money this way and it's kind of written into the regulations and procedures this way regardless of who is testing the sample, Labcorp, quest, Knoll, etc. Sorry I used to have the link to this part of the procedure on the history on my computer but it go wiped out. A collector I know also says this, that they only go to GC/MS if there is a non negative on immunoassay first. It might say GC/MS on the chain of custody form but it still gets immunoassay first.

Good job on subbing.
