stick it in a bag/jar with a bit of lemon or orange peel. DO NOT LEAVE IT IN THERE TOO LONG, you could risk mold.
I would check it atleast every few hours and remove it once it has alittle moisture back.

A bit of damp paper towel will work just fine.
Just check it often, like WBW said.

squeeze the water till it is not dripping, then seal

Yeah, just squeeze as much water as you can out of it.
I use a tupperware container that has 2 sections under one lid. I put the weed in one side, and the wet item in the other. Put it in a warm (but not hot) place, and check every 30 minutes.
How can dry bud make you feel rough? I completely fail to see how that works?

Some people are more sensitive to changes in flavor. I know some patients who have a hard time tolerating dry cannabis.

That REALLY baffles me - competely.
I refuse to smoke it unless it's completely dry and well cured [unless its just sticky]
But when it's dry i find you get the fullest flavour, and it's much smoother.

yes.. the most awesome flavours hit the bud a week after their proper harvesting time.. thats what some commercial growers (Greenhouse seeds etc) do. But the idea of not liking dried bud is strange, isn't that how its supposed to be?

You're right about cured weed being better and more potent and flavorful.
But luckily for you, you live near a river. There is probably enough moisture in the air to prevent over drying. You'll probably never have this problem.
Here in Portland, I haven't had any problems, but some areas of Oregon are high desert, and can get VERY dry. When I lived in Wisconsin I sometimes had problems. Also, some heating systems can make the problem worse.

You're right, i can see where your comming from. I'll be honest - i've never even taken that into concideration. Although i dont live by the river, i work on it. I live 126 miles from where i work haha! It's a bastard drive, i'll tell ya. Best part of 3 hours each way, 2 on a GOOOD day.

Damn LIP, why do you put up with that? If I had to drive that far to work I wouldn't last 3 days.

I like driving - well, i used to. Not anymore - it's just another damn chore.
I'm looking for somewhere in Norfolk so it's a much quicker drive.
Londons getting worse and i've had enough of kids running around with sawn off shotguns and machetes and Islamic "extremists" blowing us fucking up.
Sometimes i wish it was legal for me to go and put them all to sleep.

Why would you? Most people will never have this happen, so it's understandable that you've never seen or heard of it.

i word of advice, seeing as you have had this happen now, maybe you will store your stash better, maybe something a little more airtight that what you currently use so as to avoid this problem, though dry weed is what will happen if you dont use it faster, so pick one, my favorite is to use more, though that is just me

Lip man, long time no speak!
I'm just about thinking of moving up London, I saw a place I wanted in Shoreditch.
It seriously isn't as bad as you say is it?! I'm up there a lot, in both day and night and the most I have had it some 15 year old boy asking me to 'take off my fucking bag and give it to him or else he would stab me'
I said 'I'll take the latter, I TRIPLE dare you to pull a knife on me fella...'
He soon, after making various 'gangster' proposals about getting his 'crew' to come finish me, fucked off.
I want to move down there to start my stand-up comedy career properly, there isn't enough comedy clubs down this way...
It can't be as bad as you make it out to be can it? I'm up there more often than not and never had much trouble, 'what ends you from?' ;)

Trust me, i dont want to be doing that.. i have a vomiting syndrome and use cannabis to relieve nausia so am on it every day as it is, buying it for everyday for constant use is very costly -.-
I would have taken better care of it but my bf usually does all that stuff and since we're on a break and he's not here my minds been elsewhere.

i see, well then that just all around sucks, but on the bright side atleast you now know how to tend to some overdried herb and maybe will pay closer attention in the future, thats all we can hope for atleast

It's pretty bad around Hoxton. The older idiots are fine - i dont mind them shooting and stabbing each other - gives me something to watch on friday nights, but the amount of idiot kids running around with guns - they dont know what they're doing, and they cant be trusted at all. They're just dangerous.
Put it this way - we play on red cloth at my local snooker club - the blood has taken the green away.
Then again, im talking about the piss poor estates near me, and all the back alleys you get in the east end - really, its to be expected around that area.
I used to be as bad as most of them - but it's, imo, getting to much, too violent and too often now, and nothings changing.
You'll never see police officers alone in east london - always in 2's or more.
