Does anyone know if it is possible to cut branches off a six foot plant that look ready for harvest? The main cola is still only about 20% amber pistilled while many of the other main branches are atleast 75% amber. I'm not sure if it will stress out the rest of the remaining bud left on the plant. Thanks:rastasmoke:

Yes! Some buds mature faster than others. You will stress the plant like hell if you cut on it.Start with the lower braches and smaller buds, leaving the larger ones to finish.

Get a pocket microscope its the colour of the trichome's you want to check for harvest not the pistils.

hell yeah you can harvest in stages, I grow my harvest into stages of 2 week intervals. So every 2 weeks I cut down and replace. Also some plants dont mature all at once so you may harvest half the plant then wait a week and harvest the rest. Its all good and listen to the man Jack Herer, he knows all, Im sure..lol Peace Ollie

Yea you can harvest in stages. It's a good way to maximize your yields. Just break it off cleanly, like cutting it with scissors and all should be well.
