Is the Bottom of Your Lighter Black?

I was just going through all my lighters cause my last one died. so I had a pile of em, and I have a bit of OCD about lining things up, I lined up all my lighters, 11 in all, and ALL of em have black marks on the bottoms.. hahaha.. It cant just be me.. also, the King brand lighters all have a ring make on the sides from where i covered the bowls of diffrent pipes.

i never use the plastic part to push down my burnt buds because, like your ocd i have kind of an ocd problem where im scared ill melt plastic in with my bowl. so i use the top part of the lighter thats metal.

I got black marks on my ligters from covering the bowl after taking a hit...but I usually push it down a little with my thumb

Most my lighters have it. Its mainly when I'm sober and dont want to push it down with my hand and reek like ash. But when I'm fucked up I dont really care.

the bottom of my lighter is a little black. but i try not to let it get black. i usually wipe off the bottom afterwards so it wont get black. but other ppl use it too and they dont wipe it off.

i just use my finger or thumb...

i've had a lighter pop once when i was using it to cap off the metal bowl to my gas mask (it gets REALLLLLLLLLLLLLY HOT, which is why i use something metal now lol) scared the living shit outta me...

The bottom of my clipper is black, but it's meant to be. I dont smoke pipes so i have no need to use the bottom to pack or cap off.

Yeah LOL that is the main reason why the bottom of my clipper in black with ash. I'm going to make a small rubber stopper for the bottom of it or something a I live in Holland now and Clippers are hard to come by over here.

My lighters are clean but I've got a permanent charcoal stain on one fingernail. When I'm home, I've got a little pokey glass thing for poking. I'm afraid I'll melt/burst the lighter. But I did put out a joint on my tongue this morning... that was stupid as hell. Ow.

I do however have a callous on my widdle thumb, from my strikes for toke

I use a toothpick or nail file for pokin the corn cob pipe

Yeah, I have thumb callus too.. I used to snuff out my bowls with much finger too, but because of what I do, My hands must be clean. I have a silver poker for scraping and scrambling my bowl too.. but ya know when you take the first hit off a bowl and tthe weed raises.. yeah, thats when I use my lighter. also, My finger wont go into the one hitter I use for my exotics, so i gotta use the lighter. I've never had any melt or explode..

When i've got to put out a joint i do it with my finger tips - just pinch the cherry. Puts it out, seals the joint up and doesnt waste anything. But i only do that when, for example, someone knocks at my door and im not expecting them. Dont want me joint to burn down sitting in the ashtray.

i dont really have a black bottom to my lighter, maybe a little grey from giving it a stir or something, but the little toothpick piece to my swiss army knife is blackening cause thats what i use to stir and clean out my bowls, i use a tiny screwdriver if im cleaning it out for another bowl but never the ligher, it just doesnt work as well.
