I have been getting lots of mixed info on T5 lighting. I am particularly looking at the new wave T5 4' 8 bulb 40k lumens. I usually hear all the horror stories about someone who knows someone who said yields are terrible or it can't be done etc. Has anyone completed a grow with T5? I understand, I am hesitant also to move away from my 400whps but the temps are driving me nuts and sometimes you just have to change some things.

I've heard that T5s are great for seedlings, clones, and even vegging. I think your 400 HPS will still be ideal for flowering. I also have temp problems during the summer. Sometimes my cabinet gets up to 32 degress C (90 degrees F).

I have been using t5's throughout the entire grow and my plant seems to be blooming fine, you just have to change the bulbs when you go into flower, hope that helps, i will attach pic of my plant in 4th week of flower using t5's (8 of them 4 ft. long)
