Is this good or bad? They lost the form that I need to bring to a Quest or other agency. Told me to go to the campus and take test w/ nurse (no form needed).

Should I be more or less nervous about taking the test directly at the employer? They have an onsite (female) nurse...I'm a dude.

Do the same general pre-employment rules apply? I was just starting to get comfortable w/ everything and now I'm losing it again...ugh.

No problem. It happens. If they are not using a form then it means they are just going to do a test strip UA on the site. So if you can pass a test strip at home you'll be good.

I had several options...quest..one other company...or the actual company nurse. This is a large corporation and they have onsite nursing staff. Wondering if I should have selected that option from the get-go.

I took a test this am (21 days) and it had a dark line and a faint line...not sure if it would be considered passing or not....haven't tried taking a picture of it..or photocopying. Going to schedule my test for early next week. That gives me one more week to try to be naturally clean. Trying to do everything by the book...by the posts/guides I've read here.

I'm going to have grey hair as a result of this...I can feel it growing in. :) I'm assuming that large corporations need to adhere to the same guidelines..or at least should...for pre-employment testing?

I'm going to be double prepared...light dilution and QF 4.0. If someone tries to follow me into the bathroom I'm going to play the "shy bladder" card...if that doesn't work...maybe the "I know my rights card"...if that doesn't work, I'm going to have to hope that dilution will do the trick. Thanks Killer...I really appreciate you taking the time to respond...as I take a large gulp of wine...:)

You're doing it just like I would. I try to rely on my own clean urine if possible and use the QF as backup. I bought some new heat pads at the local dollar store that do a better job of heating the QF incase I need quick heat. It heats the sample in 5 to 10 minyes where the pad that comes with QF can take up to an hour. In my position I have to be ready for unexpected UA's.

My test form was lost in the mail. The company said to go to their nurse..no test form needed. The form showed up yesterday. Standard 5 panel test w/ NIT.

If you were me, would you go to the company nurse or Quest? I just took a test this am and after 24 days I'm still showing as positive. I'm going to schedule my test for next week and will most likely need to sub or dilute..probably combination of both.

My QF4.0 arrived yesterday. Not feeling very comfortable just crotching it. When I sit down and then stand up, it wants to fall out. I have it wrapped up in an ace bandage right next to my crotch...can't be seen through boxer-briefs. :) After an hour without a heat pad I'm holding a steady 96 degrees w/o a heat pad. :D I actually added a second temperature strip and the one included with the bottle seems to be a little lower then the one I added...both are the same type...ugh...can't wait until this madness is over.

So...Quest or Company Nurse..what do you think? I guess my only concern is whether or not the company nurse fully understands pre-employment vs. observed, etc...

Watch out Helga Von Snipit the company nurse might be waiting with some garden shears ready to cut it off if you are caught subbing.

The rules to pre employment testing apply no matter what lab is doing it or if it is collected on site. Also, if for some reason you gave them reason to observe it has to be done by the same sex so since there is only one female nurse it doesn't look like you have much to worry about. However, anything is possible and like you said every once in a while some don't know the rules (a few months ago a collector performed a monitored test incorrectly that I heard about, monitored is for multi stall bathrooms usually)so I would go to Quest since they probably know the rules.

You better make sure it doesn't fall out. I don't know of too many people who don't secure it with either 2 pairs of underwear briefs and not boxers, tape, or bandage.

BTW you're giving us all gray hair so thanks for practicing now listen to Nike and Just Do It!

Weird, there seems to be a post caught in limbo somewhere. Oh well.

My bad...should have appended to this post but wanted to be sure I caught your attention. Sorry about the gray hair. This is a big jump in salary so it could mean good things. It's not all about money...but part of it is.

Thanks for replying. HAHA...yeah..certainly don't want it to fall out. I've had it strapped to my upper thigh w/ an ace bandage since 6am and it's snug as a bug. Been sitting down and standing up and it hasn't moved a bit.

Just did a temp check...holding steady at a balmy 96 degrees after 4 hours without a heat pad. Green dot on 96 and brown dot on 98....so maybe closer to 97 degrees. It went down to 94 at one point and has climbed back up since. I'm diggn' it!

Thanks FBR...I owe you and Killerweed big time! Whenever I get nervous...I come here..do some searching...read posts for a few hours..and I feel better. That's counts for a lot in my book! Thank goodness for the intarweb!!
