Storing my ph pen?

well i just started to use my ph pen (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300183226132)...i heard people keep it in wet sponges to prolong the life .....what does every one do to take care of there ph pens?

Just enough to cover the probe completely.

I stick a little piece of cottonball down in there to keep the solution. The probe rests right on the solution-soaked cottonball.
