annoyed with friends who cancel!

my friend just FLOPPED on me after going on about how long its been since we've chilled.. so we finally make plans , then this morning (the morning of our plans) she cancels... thats REALLY annoying because she made plans with me first and i KNOW she's cancelled to be with someone else.. argh.

it bothers me most she cancels for someone else! putting our plans second priority to whatever she's doing now! like i'm just a fucking option .. fuck that.

whats worse is i call her this morning to see whats up and she says "change of plans." i dont mind but i ask her why and she doesnt bother telling me what she's flopping on me for.. sh says "i'll tell you later." which #1 rude, she should at least explain what she's putting me aside for #2 she should have called earlier to tell me!!

i'm sooo annoyed!

okay i really dont mind that she cancelledd on me. its the fact that night after night i listen to her whine about her boyfriend and give her advice, EVEN during the day i come back from new jersey from a 15 hour bus ride and she's about to go on bout herself whilst i'm just fucking tired from the bus ride that she just casts aside and continues to taalk aabout her boytoy when i bring it up. the least she could do was not cancel..

to me it seems she is making someone else happy while at the same time making someone else, ME, really annoyed. argh, no one puts me on the back burner! i'm not just an option!

i hate people like this... okay maybe im over reacting but still.

No man, youre not. If it was you doing it to her, id be a big deal. If youre gonna flake, you better call me at least the morning of.. and for another person?!? Unless theyre in from out of town or its your grandma, its non excusable. Especially if its for a boy.. bros before hoes all the way!!! Its a rule for the dick, i will hang with my best friend over him. and I expect the same in return. get mad and let her know its not cool, otherwise it will happen again.

I don't know if this is a little too much, but my theory is the people who do that are the ones who've never had their ass beat before. I have a couple "friends" who are like that, they've had people, myself included, protecting them from getting their ass kicked for being such a inconsistent flake their whole life.

and you're not overreacting at all. Trust me. I've been skipped so many times and i know how it feels. Frustrating, just frustrating. I say revenge, make her reserve a day for you, get up early, makeup, the whole package, then call up and just say you had a party the day before and you are SLEEEEEEPPPIIIINNNNGG.

im not even the kind that likes revenge, but this can't go unpunished..

Out of all my mates, i was the only one who'd arrange meetings, be on time etc. It used to drive me mad when they'd cancel a minute before they were meant to be meeting me. It mucked my whole fucking day up.

But i dont get that kinda thing anymore. I just bump into people at the snooker club or in the boozer as and when.

Apart from my dealer, or THE BUTCHER [my best mate, he got his nickname coz he likes knives... big fuck off heavy knives...] and my girlfriend - they're the only people i call to meet up with and they never cancel on me. Although i dont call my dealer, i just knock on his door or go round the back and let myself in.

After reading CC's thread on what pisses you off, this is definitely a form of disrespect. That boils my blood... roar!
