Leafy Weed

Just a question for some of the forum vets. I picked up a nug from my guy and it the usual weed, but the nug was extremely leafy. Its very high quality weed and its always been, but arent the the little leaves not what your lookin to smoke? You can see the leaves are still full of crystals but idk it just doesnt seem right.

I've gotten the same kind of stuff before. How much did you pay for it? I got jacked buying it but like you said the leaves had a ton of crystals so it was still an alright high, but obviously the bud would be better

u can smoke em but it wont really do anything to help u get high

What you could do is manicure the bud a little and dry out the leaves to get rid of that chloriphil taste (if thats what you dont want?) then smoke them later with the bud

It was part of an 1/8.. real bid bud but didn't weigh much, im not really worried that i got ripped off, just wondering like it wont ruin the high or nething? Thanks for the replies you guys are alot of help.

The leaf is still great smoke being so close to the bud but it was kind of cheap of the grower to put it out like that. Just a shitty manicure job in order to pump up the weight.....either that or just pure lazy!

some people leave the leaves on to protect the crystals underneat for transfer! i live in arizona, and when the cali medical comes in thats how it comes. so thats why, i think.

you can pull them off. i dont smoke em. its supposed to have too much chlorophyll.

you can eat them though! or make hash with them.

if you pull off all the leaves, you can keep them all and then use them all at one time for hash or to eat. they are good to eat, but or course mixed with heat and oil.

if the leaves are covered in crystal, i think its okay.
after all it is the trichomes that get you high right

yeah the leaves themselves have more THC than stems but not nearly as much as bud.
but anything with THC crystals on them will have THC and therefore will get you at least a little high:rastasmoke:

poor manicuring job.. i've been noticing more of that lately, growers getting lazy ;) you can still smoke the little leaves and they'll do the job, but if you're a purist, pick off the leaves and smoke the buds only.. (i do heheh)
