my friend has a hydro system that sprays water on the roots for 1 hr , he does this 4 times during the 12hr on and no watering during during the 12hr off.
temps 75 to 80
ph 5.5 to 6

this is his second grow , 4 plants under a 400 hps
the first grow was from seeds and had no problems.

this grow is from the clones of the first.

doing everything the same this grow as the first.

the only difference is the roots on the clones are nowhere as huge as the root system on the first grow , mother plants. but still plenty of roots.

I've looked thru Revised: The Complete Guide To Sick Plants,pH and Pest Troubles - PlanetGanja.com (http://www.planetganja.com/highsociety/showthread.php?t=8778)

but didn't see any plants that look like his .

anyway , here's a pic , what u guys think?

That's either a ph issue or overfert......or both. Have your friend double check and calibrate his ph measure. What are the ppms?

thanks WH, it souldn't be a ph problem, and I thought a overfert would leave the tips burnt before turning them like that?

he added a gallon of water last night( to weaken the the ferts in the resivor) and adjusted the ph to 6
don't know the ppm, but using the suggested amounts on the flro grow chart and it worked last time , and no burnt tips.

so far no difference between last night and tonight

I guess he needs to flush the plants and just run ph'ed water for a couple of days and see what happens??

Can you take us a closer picture of the plant and a pic of the roots as well? Especially in an aeroponics system, the picture of the roots might be very helpful.

gainesville....are you an aeroponics man? I use a drip system so will bow to your knowledge here....that sure looks like a ph issue to me.

could also be overwatering...

looks more of a water/nute issue... and then it would be heat before ph
