Hi all will adding the mollasses to my tank on my hydro cause a foamy scum around the tank, never noticed it before but this time I am useing the mollassses to see the difference in my buds.

it can, yeah ... light-leaks also will promote algae, etc ... as long as it doesnt slime up the roots too badly, I 'think' its OK :jointsmile:

yeah i also get a brown scum/ i would also like to say that when i add molassas my Ph goes up. does this happen to anyone else? if i never add it then Ph stays the same.

molassas for dirt
sweet for hydro
molassas plugs up stones/driplines, clings to roots in ebb/flow. Kicks ass in dirt though.
