Hello, I am getting a few seeds from some bagweed that I bought, I was wondering which were the better ones to use. There are some fat kinda dark/brownish and some that are light green and small. Which are the better ones to use ???

Also, When I germinate can I just drop the seeds ina wet papper towel and stick the papper towel in a cup of water with a light above it ? That way I dont have to worry about it drying up.

choose the darkest seeds, the green ones are immature ... lots of germination advice already posted, check the Search feature, or, better yet, read the FAQs at Mandala Seeds' website ... great germination advice there ... after all these years of growing, I no longer do the 'paper-towel' thing, there are better ways :smokin:

There is a better way to get better results with you germination, you can barely crack the seed and you want to put it into a damp paper towel and put it into a small tubberware with tight lid and put it under some low heat light. it's going to steam in there some and it takes one day for root to start coming out. You can practice with a few seeds.
