Nope, but I have heard in the Philippines the sentence for using marijuana is death....unless of course you pay off the cops but that's another story hehe.....I wouldn't want to be using it there ;) Are you from the land of hot Asian women or just a visiting tourist?

yeahh the phillippinnes is extremely serious about bud. in the airport, one of the first things i noticed was a big sign that said

"drug traffickers will recieve death penalty".. something along those lines.. it even said it on the customs ticket.

and theres random street signs that warn you about the penalty for selling weed.. im not that sure if they really kill you for using it though.. but ive never seen cops out driving around like they do over here.. except for in the major areas like manillla... so smoking it should be easy..

From the few Filipinos I have talked to it isn't really a big deal, but because their cops are corrupt they probably only use it as a way to shake money off of people or get rid of those they don't like. Either way I wouldn't chance it, but I also wouldn't want them mistaking me for a rich American because I'm not haha
