I've been told that because THC is not water-soluble, it is not possible to get the desired effect by grinding up hash or weed and sniffing it like snuff ( or maybe even mixed with snuff)?
Leaving aside the usual alternatives to smoking - i.e. cooking, vaporizing, etc, does anyone know of a work-around for this?

First off, why in heaven's name would you want to do that rather than smoke, vape, eat, make capsules, drink bhang, etc?
Sticking anything other than a finger up your nose is not a good idea health-wise; it's not worth risking a sinus infection for the high you won't get this way.

Good questions. I'm obviously new to the forum and haven't used cannabis for many years. I do so now for pain relief and that's mostly via cookies. But, let me answer your questions
Firstly, smoking is out. I quit a year ago and I'm not going back to smoking - anything. In fact, I quit by substituting snuff for cigs. Snuff actually keeps the sinuses clean and clear and it's enjoyable.
Secondly, I travel a lot and carrying cookies or vapes through airports is not a great idea. Snuff, on the other hand, barely raises a glance at security checks so I figure mixing in some THC might be just doable.
As to capsules, that's a new one on me. Maybe you could offer some pointers on that.
Thanks,
Dan

Theres no reason i can think of why carrying cookies on a flight would raise any suspicion. If anything, it might be even BETTER than carrying snuff... especially if you buy a plastic thing of cookies at a grocery store and just switch them out.

Please respect the wishes of the site admin here not to discuss anything in terms of ease of carrying on a plane. Understandably this may be for medical use, but it's still techincally considered smuggling. Sorry to be a wet blanket; we just have to be discreet. Thanks.
