Anyone ever get this?
I have noticed lately that When I take my usual morning bowl, when I start coming down like in the afternoon,I get these headaches and start to feel kinda shitty.
I dont get this with my evening Bowls, cause I usually just sleep before I start coming down. But these headaches are the pits.I actually have stopped burning some days just to avoid the headaches.....is it the weed or what?

Possibly low blood sugar? See if eating something nutritious help. - Granny:hippy:

I always had coming-down headaches, myself. I was able to rule out low blood sugar in myself because the headaches were still there after I'd eaten. What I ended up attributing them to was some sort of vaso-spasm in my head. Just as cannabis relieves headaches in some people, it can trigger them in others. It always made my blood pressure drop pretty significantly (after an initial spike) and I expect that that same vaso-dilation was what triggered the headaches. I've read several reports of post-smoking headaches here over the last couple of years. We'll mark that down as yet another area that needs to be studied in humans: the effect of smoked cannabis on headaches, intracranial pressure and neuro-vaso physiology. I've read abstracts, some of which are among Granny's links, about the effects of isolated synthetic THC on raising intracranial pressure, but we need to study the bigger picture with actual weed.

I would have the worst fuckin headaches when i was comin down sometimes, usually due to i hadnt eaten anything "good" that day, but sleeping always helps and sometimes a bowl will just blow it away.

Thanks guys,Yeah, they kinda resemble hang overs,I dont smoke that much either, just like 2 bowls a day.At first I thought it could be the weed.....like r0k suggested,But I just burned a bowl while BBQing outside about 2 hours ago,So i am waiting to see if I get a headache on this new batch I got.

Okay,Maybe it is the weed...or eating something...I got this new weed from a freind of mine,I got a quarter for 100 Bucks....He said it was better then the other one he gave me,it smelled sweet and looked like skinny brocolli.....it was real branchy,I guess if thats a word, lol. But I smoked out of my pipe and it was really harsh and I didnt really feel high till I went back in my house and watched TV.It definately was difrent then the last one.I did eat alot of food though. Before bed I burned another bowl and same thing,I didnt feel high right away it took awhile and the hit was harsh too.I didnt have that whole body high,it was more of a mind high than anything.Woke up and decided to burn out of my bong...Since my pipe broke last night and thought the bong would give me a smoother hit.But it was still harsh......I just drank a green tea and thats it....Im sobber right now no headache.
But .......is there a way to lessen the harshness of the hit?Or is it that some weed is just like that?

Do a search on "water curing". Smoothest smoke, but it looks ugly and has no flavor. - Granny:hippy:
