I Am Legend

Anyone got a chance to see the new Will Smith movie I Am Legend? I got a chance to see it earlier today and really enjoyed it. I've been a fan of those kind of movies though.

If you're looking for something to see I'd suggest it. Want to hear what other people think :jointsmile:

I thought it was Great....Wish it had more backround about the "creatures",but besides that I liked it....Would have been cool if the chick from Resident evil showed up and Went to work!

i don't go to movie theaters so yeah... i happened to be really fucked up when we watched it over here.... i still remember the majority of it... i thought it was mediocre/average at best...

i must say i was highly disappointed overall...

I'm glad I didn't pay to see it, but I thought it was pretty good. I liked the first part a lot better, just him going about his routine.

I thought it was cool, Will Smith did an excellent job considering he was acting by himself without any supporting actors or actresses. The zombies were lame, I thought the scariest part was how real the evacuations were and how real it felt when it would flashback t o when the Virus first got out.

I'de give it a 6.5/10

had more creatures yes, had more of anything would have been better than this, honestly i hated it, there was a meaning somewhr in the film but as far as a virus and 99% of the population being wiped out and a few monsters at the end what else was there to the film, there was absoloutly nothing! except....

it was a film based on will smith nothing more, he was incredible, great performance, full of emotion this is what seperated it from the other films 28 days etc, rather than following the evil you followed the good, you felt his isolation, just the same as tom hanks in castaway with that stupid ball! (great film great acting)
you felt his happiness when he met that woman and her kid, it gave him hope he felt that he did something and helped mankind

will smith has got to stop making these save the world films

9/10 for the acting 6/10 for film no originality but okay to watch

I'm glas as wel I didn't pay to see this picture. What a f*cking egocentric movie with WM in it. Come 'on, why making a picture with only "one" character. Okay, I admit, I was f*cked up the moment I saw it. But still, it wasn't as good as I suspected.

Yeah, also about the creatures, the 'vampires', I suspected a lot more. What did they exactly do? What was the proces it all came so fast to an end of the human kind.

Nothing of this in the entire movie. WM playing some kind of Cast Away in the big city with monsters all over the place. Storyline is pretty cheap I think.

but yeah: keep on blazing, but whatch another movie:jointsmile:

I was just thinking, I think this movie is pro-medical marijuana. Some doctor finally develops a pill that supposedly treats cancer, but look what happens, while marijuana has been used to alleviate the pain of those with it for years. It's totally clear to me:stoned:

I thought the movie was horrible. I dont know how many movies Ive seen with the exact same plot. And what a horrible ending. I normally love Will Smith but I wasn feeling his acting in this movie

I've got nothing against Will Smith, in most cases I think He is a very good actor, and actually did do a good performance for what the roll called for. However the movie was just plain boring, the story really wasn't laid out that well. Sorry but a few flashbacks just dont really cut it. The CGI on the creatures was so fake looking I couldn't help but laugh and say "Look he's the only one left on a world of video-game mutant zombies" or "hey look the robots from i-robot are now mutants" (it was the same CGI team and the facial expressions, especially the eyes were almost identical).

I'm really glad I watched t on the internet and not in theatres. In all fairness it was a cool idea, I just think it was executed really really poorly.

Well no wonder you dont like it. you watched it on the internet. I was fuckin blowed in the theatre and was so into the movie that i was pissedat how quick it ended and how it ended. Still one of the best movies of all time. Will Smith is probably the best actor ever after watching this movie.

Everybody needs to quit watching new great movies on the net because it lowers the entertainment big time.
