okay.. i just bought this shit..
its delsym and its a cough suppressent. anyway.. it contains DXM, but.. its called, well.. ill jsut wrtie what it has. Dextromethorphan polistirex equivalent to 30 mg dextromenthorphan hydobromide.
so.. whats up with this?? is it okay to drink.
ive only done DXM once but it was kiddy shit, pediatric. i only had 162 mgs. i plan on having a bit more this time around.

Dextromethorphan polistirex is a time released form dxm. its safe to take as long as its the only active ingredient, however dont take in high doses as you could w/ other dxm products though cause it becomes toxic the longer it remains in your system whiich it dose cause its time released, dont go over a few hundred mg.'s. most people who trip on dxm dont trip on the time released kind cause i guess its suppose to take longer to take effect and isnt as intense as dxm hbr. id say buy a 4 ounce bottle of robitussin max strength cough.

my advice, don't bother with Delsym. DXM polistrex lasts longer than DXM, but it's much weaker. you get a long buzz rather than a not-quite-as-long trip. and since any kind of DXM is really bad for you, you want it to count.

Basically says polistirex is not weaker at all... it just makes it longer to kick in and if you do it for a long period of time it can build up and have a bad outcome. But delsym is some strong shit, i took 400 mgs and i got trashed one time... im bout to go take 600mg tonight
