Hi
6 Days ago my wife acquired 5 Northern-lights clones.
She was told they were good to go and would only have to water them till time to transplant.
The first mistake was to put them into an unfinished grow area.
No intake fans were operating and over night the soil dried up and seriously damaged 3 plants. Plants A,B & C in photos. Plants D & E didn't seem to suffer much stress.
The Tops of plants A & C withered, but with a good watering they seemed to revive. Tops died but new growth appeared.
On the leaves Yellow tips began to form then turning brown on very tip. Plant B started turning yellow all over and wilted.
I have no idea what is in the soil or what type soil it is so I get worried. Plant B was dieing so I decided to transplant it into some soil I have from a 12 year old compost pile I have. While in the process of transplanting I find there is no real root system. Plant B is little more than a cutting. I have no rooting hormone so I make a batch of Willow Tea "Home Brew Rooting Hormone". I doused the soil and tented the "Cutting" hopefully this will work.
It stopped wilting and leaves are rising to light again.
Plant D is showing minor signs if the tip yellowing and leaves are turning light green on edges, but E has no yellow. It looks like plant E is a but older than the others.
I have only used tap water on them except B "Willow Tea"
I have no Idea of soil makeup but didn't want to mess with them
and find they have no root system either. The lighting is 18-6, temp is running at 73 f, the vent runs at 32 cfm. with 2- 3" intake fans.
No ph tester at moment getting one in the A.M.
Any Ideas? I would sure hate to lose them all. Hope photos help.
