Whats Diff Between The Fluorescent Lights And The Incandescent Lights?

HI :)
My understanding is, with Incandescent lights, a larger amount of the energy used is transformed into HEAT energy not LIGHT energy.
With Fluorescent lights the heat is less and they still put out a good amount of Visible Light Energy.

Grabbing a Fluorescent Tube or a CFL I have yet to be burned, but touch a HOT light bulb and you will know it. :D
