Quick question about worm castings

Hi guys. Do you think MJ would like a soil mix of say 2/3 worm castings and 1/3 perlite? Should some ordinary potting soil be added as well? I heard somewhere that worm castings can be used exclusively. Am I wrong in thinking that it would be the same as having a bunch of worms living in your soil (which is a sign of healthy soil)? IIRC Worm castings are Nutrient rich excrement of worms in nutrient rich soil, so its not the same as having worms live in the soil.
