sorry for the dumb question but i cant seem to find a stright answer for this. how wet should the soil be for the seedlings and how often/how can i tell when i need to water them again. Last seedlings i believe i overwatered them so need help

i have always used a water spray bottle and give them a good 15-20 squirts 2 times a day until they have 1 or 2 true sets of leaves

as new seeds they should be moist but not wet, and as they get a little older let them dry quite a bit then water them well when they feel dry(till water comes out the bottom and when fairly dry)

I like to water young seedlings from a cheap diner-style ketchup dispenser that can deliver a controlled stream of water and not disturb the soil too much.

thanks alot guys i got them to sprout through the soil:thumbsup: just a quick question, I know it is ok for the stem to be purple for a bit but the bottom of the tiny leaves are purple to, is this ok? how long till they look normal
