I recently started using these grow bags called Oxygen Power Bags. The question I have ,may be crazy? But,hey! I'm stumpped. The bags are a dull but glossy blue. The have the room reflecting blue, all around from the mylar.I am using a 600 watt HPS.Will this have too much blue in my spectrum for flowering? Will the blue keep the gurls flowering properly? These may not be the ticket for flowering? Just want some input on my situation. They are so easy to work with, but the blue issue has me concerned.

It only reflects the available light. In your case, the blue light reflected is coming from the HPS lights themselves! That may sound odd but HPS does emit enough blue spectrum that you will be able to notice that the bags are indeed blue under the lights, but it should look like more of a navy blue since really there's not a lot of the blue light there to reflect to begin with. Considering that other grow bags are black, and reflect NO light, you're already ahead of the game.

Stinky,
Are you familiar with this type of bag?

I haven't seen that brand, but I'm familiar with grow bags as a concept. Helpful hint, if you run grow bags, don't expect to move the plants around (possible root damage), and put each one up off the floor on a shipping pallet for better drainage. Psycho4Bud had his on rolling house-plant trays, which seemed to work really well.

Yeah! I have them in the regular 10x20 trays with the flat holder under them.I thought about that moving issue, too. This is what I decided. I would use them for the mothers and stick with the tried and true method that has worked for me so very long. The ole' gallon pots or bigger! To keep from damaging the root system,I tied the bags around the top,to tighten the soil ball.Works pretty good.Thank ya for getting my mindset,on the right track!
