cabinet suggestions for 150 hps

i am currently saving alitte money to buy a 150w floralux hps with glass lens.The 150w can flower 4 plants but im finding it completely impossible to find any cabinets that are more than 1 foot deep,2 feet wide and about 5 foot high.The cabinet im looking at right now is a storage cabinet at target for 49$,it comes with adjustable shelves but its only 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep.Im planning on growing nothing but bag seeds for a while so i dont think ill need to be cloneing until i get pretty good at growing and have enough money to buy some exotic seeds.But in the long run i need a cabinet that has clone on the bottom and flowering plants on top.If i cant go to for plants i guess just three will do,im gonna have there height aboutmaybe 3 feet tall.

p.s. How much do yall think i can yield off of three small plants under a i50w hps.

Dude no offense but it sounds like you need to do some research... If youre using bag seeds theyre not guaranteed to be females. Plus they me be a sativa blend which will want to grow tall instead of a short bushy plant which is pretty helpful. Also have you looked into scrog techniques or anything. Thought about ventilation and cooling? Soil or hydro? But 3 plants at 150 qp a lil more.

There's no such thing as a 'guaranteed female'. Not even feminized seeds are guaranteed.

Ok, so you want to grow your own weed, great! First things first, do some reading. Read every grow faq you can find on the Internet. Then if you still have questions, ask them! It can be quite overwhelming, believe me!

Secondly, you can make a cabinet quite easily. Then you can make it to any size you want. It wouldn't cost you anymore then you were willing to pay now. Check out some websites. There's tons that give you instructions, blue prints, etc. You may even be able to find a hardware store that will do the cutting for you if you don't have access to power tools.

If you're really into buying a cabinet, go to thrift stores/used shops/etc and find some kitchen/bathroom cabinets to use. They are usually 2' deep and range in numerous heights. You can stack them on top of each other for added height. Don't forget to add your intake/exhaust fans. Even if you buy a cabinet already made, you'll still have to work on it.

All is not lost. You're new and excited, I can understand that, but you really do need to slow down and get things set first. Don't make my mistake and just jump right in with both feet. Get ALL your equipment together first, then start the seeds. Promise, it will be much easier that way. Good luck!

i basically know all there is to know about growing and have done mounths of research and have read jorge cervantes grow bible book.I have my nutes already and have the exact plans for ventalation but just need the cabinet.And thats bullshit about growing only 2 or 3 plants with a 150w ,shit i can grow 4 descent ones if i wanted too,weed needs 3000 lumens minumum to grow 4000 is better and the 150w puts out 16,000.my grow is gonna be soil all the way and ill be useing a pc fan to air cool the bulb and another to move air in the cabinet.Ill be using a hole at the bottom of the cabinet for passive air.

Actually, 4,000 lumens a square foot is okay...5,000 is more of the optimal range. And 16,000 lumens is 3.2 sq. ft. at that level. That's three small plants. You'd be better off going for two larger plants, IMO. And I gotta say that four plants for a 150w is probably dreaming, unless you're doing a scrog or something. My grow area is 27" x 28"...5.25 sq. ft. I've got a 250w ballast with a 270w Hortilux light that puts out 29,000 lumens. Four plants in my area is tight. Just my .02 there.

that actualy gonna keep them no more than maybe 3 1/2 feet in the cabinet im planning on growing in.I would know how to do that scrog thing and i really dont know the purpose of it.

p.s.i have one question if anyone can answer it?if i was useing a mother and keeped it in veg and if was out growing the bottom part of the cabinet could i cut it in half and just keep on vegging.i know its better to take clones from a mother rather than the plant you plan on flowering but if the mother keeps growing wouldn't that be a problem.The reason why i would cut the plant in half is to keep the size of the plant down and just keep on reverting it.
