Thank God! I Have the live in NY album in my top 5 picks on my mp3 player.. My faves have to Strangers and Mysterons.. that song hits home right now.. Cant wait! Rollingstone had an interview with beth and one of the guys, I forgot who, and they were saying that its gonna be a masterpiece, which come on! its Portishead.. Theyre geniuses!

About fucking time! Portishead is fucking great, and Beth Gibbons' voice is SUPER sexy. I heard somewhere that she has pretty bad stage fright hence why they dont tour all that much, and she doesn't look atthe audience much. Supposedly that was one of the reasons it took so long for this new album. Because she doesnt even like people there when recording, she records herself at her home studio and sends the tapes to Geoff Barrow.

They have 2 studio albums, 1 live album and a new studio coming out. There is also a remix album out there I heard in a pub once, but I don't know where to get it.

I've decided not to get tickets, it's on a monday so I'd need to take a day off work, and besides I ain't watching them play unless i can slouch out on a couch and smoke my pipe.

I think it is alright, I like the electro synth at the end.
