I was struggling to shovel my driveway this morning, to get rid of the 12 inches of crusty snow soon to be topped by more if the storm watchers are correct, and as I was chopping away at the wall of ice and snow compacted at the end of the driveway, a snowplow truck went by- I smiled wistfully, wishing I had their big truck and what do you know- a minute goes by and the snowplow truck is back to help! They easily cleared in less than a minute what would have taken me at least another half hour to chip away. They were so sweet, and simply thanked me for my smile :)
So often it is too easy to focus on the meanies, and forget about all the kind people in the world- sorry if this sounds sappy, but I can't help myself. Some people are so nice!

This, darling image reaper, is SNOW (and sleet and freezing rain and grey fogginess!)
I had shoveled at least a foot off my poor old car yesterday, and she is covered again! Welcome to winter:D

I hear the Eat side of US/Canada is getting a mean storm. Not here quite yet though. It has been a year since Stanley Park got destroyed by nasty weather, but nothing too severe has come this way.
I miss the snow and I am moving back to AB after the new year. How much I complained about it, I do miss the snow and my old friends. Plus it's much cheaper for living. Vansterdam is great and all, but I hink I'll just vacation here instead. Not much work for what I do, expensive as hell, but beautiful as shit.
Anyways, I'll be going back to snow in a month or so and I'm going to love it.

i wish it would snow here... its been 10 years since we had more then a few inches on the ground at a time... i want to go shovel the little old ladys driveways, they always invite you in, give you some hot cookies, and hot chocolate, and $20 bucks for 10 mins of work! plus i think its kind of satisfying to help those people out, and actually do some good for them, get some exersize, and about the t ime the munchies start to kick in, you got some fresh baked cookies! aaawww.. getting backed and talking to old ladys.
