1/2 oz??

hi. i'm new to smoking. i have no idea what 1/2 oz, 1/4, 1/8 etc looks like. i use to give my friend the money and he would go get it for me, but for the amount that i use to give him ($70) i was getting way more than i am now. i don't know if he had a hookup or what, but i feel like i'm getting jipped. is this what 1/2 oz looks like?

Yes, you need a scale for sure. It looks under, but looks can be very deceiving.

Wet or dankish cannabis will weigh much more than properly dried cannabis, so get a scale, and it will tell you.

A half ounce should weigh 14grams, and a quarter should weigh 7grams. It's a unit of measurement, so if it isn't either of those, something is a miss.

It looks like a quarter to me though. :)

definitely underweight...my guess would be that's relative to maybe 8-10 grams..

Buy some scales..if you cannot afford digital scales, get hand scales...weigh it before you buy something..in front of your guy..if it doesn't weigh ask if he could put some more in there, if not tell him you'll find it elsewhere..or give him less money and be like..yo
