How much does the lb. of beasters cost where you are? I'm thinking about just getting a lb. that will last our dorm a forever, because these guys around here are charging up chronic prices for beasters. $40. an eighth for beasters is crazy, when I know they probally pay less then $1,000 a lb

A lb of beasters go for about a $1000 here. I'm not exactly sure though, but it is around that price range, give or take.

Some beasters can be bad tasting, but some can be surprisingly not bad. It's usually above mid quality, but like I said, it can have a bad, chemically taste to it though.

That can easily be fixed in a few days by using the water cure method that will release most of those bad tasting toxins, and flush them out, resulting in a cleaner taste, sometimes no taste at all.

water cure is when you put the weed in a water bath changing the water daily for 4-7
days strain w/cheese cloth. remove pat dry w/clean material removing most of the water, let dry in a cool dry place, cure in a typical manner to avoid mold. This is easier w/fresh harvested plants because its easier to weight plants under the surface. Never done it w/loose buds but I suppose you could wrap it cheese cloth and hold it under with a weight. I would only do this if the chemical taste is terrible. water curing makes for a smooth smoke but most of the flavor is removed. It also darkens the color.

Ive smoked some Beasters that were low mids, and some Beasters that were pretty good quality sensimilla, no worse than your standard big bud or kind bud. Calling bud "Beasters" only delineates that it comes from British Columbia; some batches are better than others. Make sure you dont just pay a standard price for a pound of weed somebody says is Beasters. Know your weed.. visually examine the weed, smell it, and smoke it if you can before you buy. If the dude is shady about it, find a different dealer. Sorry if you know this stuff already, I just felt it couldnt hurt to add.
