burning???!

i started my grow this mrning putting the lights on the pot wit the germinated sed in the soil. I checked it whne i got home and some of the tinfoil coverning the inside was burnt. And it has a weird smell. what going on?

What kind of lights are you using and why are you using tinfoil in a setup? Use mylar or something.

What Shaddr3 said! aluminum foil is no good flat white is even better than aluminum foil. I use mylar, but a lot of expirenced growers are switching to a white plastic sheeting.

i dont have any other shit . Im using rihgtn ow only 2 flros but i have 4 but i only have 2 27 watt floros 0n it right now. Should i raise them higher?

howdy ride ur grow buddy here saying if ur leaves our yellowing it could be signs of a few things, burning, and lack of watering

is the tinfoil inside the pot or what??? i dont understand you, make a drawing or take a picture, and check the cables, if they are getting too hot, you are using a thin cable, check also where the light is pluged, if its getting way to hot and what is it made of???? be more specific
