Other people see your post. But they are afraid to comment. That was a good thread. I will miss it. Just like I miss all the other ones that are gone.

Yes Rebgirl420, I noticed it was closed also.
I'm sorry you will miss it.
To me, it is no big deal. It just seemed like a thread that wanted personal opinions on other peoples taste.
I really didn't see where that was of any benefit to me.
As for the other comment I see here.
I have no fear of commenting on anything I read here. As long as I can respect the forum rules and the Ideas of the other people posting here, there should be no problems. Not to say I agree with all the Ideas I see here, just that we all have the right to our own opinions.
But, thats just my opinion;)
Why are all the biggest threads being closed? You'd think they'd keep the big ones open - concidering they are so popular. This isnt good.

I agree with LIP. I think the owner(s) of this site are losing sight of a very important aspect of medicine. I agree wholeheartedly with the way the site is being run, I don't want the place run amock with idiots either, but is leaving harmless threads like this really going to damage our reputation to the world? I commend all the work you mods are doing and I support it. But consider this. I read once somewhere about a treatment for cancer/schitzophrenia that involved immersing the patient in a loving and creative environment where they have freedom to express themelves artistically in any way they see fit. It has allegedly proved very succesful, I think it was run in Canada somewhere. Anyway, is it not perhaps also the case that some of us recreational/medicinal users also come here not only to have intellectual discussion on things, but sometimes to play around and have a little fun? Just a point I felt needed raised.

This is serious bullshit.
I understood when they closed down other highs. I can even understand closing sexuality.
When they start closing historic threads, it's obvious there is no respect for historical preservation, no respect for it's membership.
If the owner wants to destroy every resemblance of one of the oldest cannabis sites on the net, so be it. If the owner doesn't listen to feedback, close this thing down.
If I had millions of dollars, I'd buy this site back and give it back to the people where it rightfully belongs.
The members is what keeps this site running. That's what has been forgotten. Only so many changes can be made before they cross the line, and what you see now is either revolt or flight.
Since member input here is of no value, you'll see more flight of the quality members, the ones that kept this place interesting. If this site becomes like watching paint dry, other restaurants are looking very appealing. Only my loyalty to this site is what keeps me here. When you lose that, I'm gone.

Those threads are too big therefore they're closing to save bandwidth.
That SHOULD be their reason.

Please everyone stop posting threads about closed threads.
The site does not have to become a ghost town.
Be the positive change you want to see.
