Hey, i've been reading these boards reguarly for a few months now, and even as a reader it's addictive! If not for my incredible resources of laziness i would have registered a long time ago, but today i have finally managed to talk myself into sitting up, putting my smoke down and getting started. Anyway, here's a little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in the city of Bath, England, and live in a sleepy village on the outskirts. Up until 2 years ago, Drugs was written in my head in bright red, bold capital letters with a skull and crossbones in the background! Then a guy who was a friend of a friend was desperate for someone to fill the fourth spot on his trip to Amsterdam, and for some reason i said yes (some reason may have been the half naked ladies).
I decided then that as i was going, i'd have to try the weed, and made my peace with it. In all honesty i didnt get properly stoned that trip (scared, i'll admit it) and was largely unimpressed by the weed, despite having fallen in love with The Dam.
Then one night, i was at a house party where the weed was outweighing the booze, and i got mashed. I ended up laid out on the floor by the massive stereo speaker in the dining room, and on came the live version of Hotel California. I cannot explain the way that song caught hold of me, but i'm sure you've all experienced similar. That was the moment i fell in love with Mary Jane, and this time we stayed in touch.
I'm sure some of you will skip the above, so i'll just say hello, and thanks for having me.
