hey guys, i got a call last night from my sis and she told me my grandpa was back in the hospital. he has a disease thats just a slower form of lou g's disease. this time hes not coming back out...i am flying up to see him tomorrow to see if i can see him one last time while he's alive. im not even sure if i will make it in time. hes on constant morphine so he doesnt go out in pain. the disease just makes you lose all your motor functions over a period of time. sucks man,,,,,this is going to be the first death of a family member for me. damn....

Sory to hear that, dude, I feel for you :(
I remember when my grandfather died a few years ago, he was in Italy and I couldn't take the time to go see him one last time... When I went back there after he had died, it felt so strange for him not to be there, and even 7 years later, I still think of him and miss him. But make sure to keep the good memories especially, at least you'll be a little happier when you think of him :)

Very sorry to hear that Slip. Just think of all the great things that he's probably seen and enjoyed. Plus he's probably enjoying life a lot more on morphine. I'm not trying to joke or be disrespectful. I never met any of my grandparents before they passed on, so I envy you for that. Stay strong and much peace for your grandfather.

Sorry to hear that, man. Death is a natural thing, though. It's good to know he's not going out in any pain.
That sucks Slide, prayers go out for you and ur family. I have never lost someone close to me luckily, but I have a buddy in a crappy situation he found out that both his parents who happen to be young (40s) have terminal cancer and arent expected to live long. Man, I cant like describe the empathy I feel for him and his parents. The sadder thing is he has three small brothers that are just in elementary/middle school man. Argh man shit is fucked up
