That's what someone paid for a front row seat to see Led Zeppelin in London last night!
Jimmy Page has also said there _might_ be a world tour, or a tour of some sort I assume it's going to be a BIG tour.

For that price he should have gotten a private concert at his house.

What 80,000 pounds for a bag of weed? I'd take the led zep ticket, unless it was a bag of weed the size of a rainforest.
Jimmy Page apparently broke his finger recently, his left pinkie, and it's still healing so I don't they are really worth seeing. Jimmy Page hasn't been able to play anything like he used to for a long time. If they come nearby my neck of the woods I'll consider going, I doubt I'd be prepared to pay anything more than 30 euro.
AND there might be a new album...

Bloody hell, The Eagles getting back together and now Led Zep?
novelty act. great band, seeing them in the seventies would have been priceless, now, they are all passed their prime, are going to be playing giant stadiums greatest hits shows where over half the people there just happen to be yuppies who were lucky enough to get tickets, not real fans. ill focus on seeing the great bands of this era unless someone wants to throw me a ticket, these cash grab type events disgust me, and before you say it is anything else please display the ticket prices.

There are plenty of artists from the 70s on up who can still rock out just as good i.e. Bob Dylan and Petty for sure.
sorry for double post

them tickets were from a charity auction, if you wanted to donate money to a charity a good way to do it.i would have liked to have seen that concert, went and see the rolling stones last year another old timers group but still excellent.

i'd go and see them in concert. i wouldnt pay that much, but if it was a normal ticket price $25-$100 i would go. another good rocker from the 70's is Alice Cooper. i seen his show 2 years ago, and he still has it. some people have it, others dont, im curious to see if jimmy page does
