Check out, "Roots, Rock, Remixed". It's a new CD with a bunch of remixed Bob Marley tunes. It's headie. I'm usually skeptical about Bob Marley remixes, but this CD is dope. Check it out.

I listed a bunch of bands but they all got taken away buy the slow server bullshit, any way the best reggea band to comeout sice Bob, or Hudson, or even Johnny Osbourn is Groundation, I could not beleve the sound coming out of the singer, it is the dopest sound I have heard in years. check out Hebron, and Baba rule dem..............................Check It
MySpace.com - Groundation - San Diego, California - Reggae - www.myspace.com/charubimrockers (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=163115645)

here is a vid of their tour, the second song called weeping pirates is 50 times better live then on the CD, I hear their all like that, and that is what matters the live performace. Check it
YouTube - Groundation (http://youtube.com/watch?v=pOlEXuYSSW8&feature=PlayList&p=B8948431D173F2F6&index=112)

Yea man black uhuru is great, the lead singer michael rose went on to have some good albums too. Just check the discographies on allmusic, there not always right but it'll give you a good idea of which ones to go for first. By slumpin are you talking about dub, if so scientist, sly and robbie, and mad professor are some of the biggest, I don't really like dub that much tho:rastasmoke:

Listen to "Slightly Stoopid". They were signed by the singer of Sublime before he died and man they are as good as Sublime was, in fact I think they have just started to take off. They are headlinging the House OF Blues New Years Eve, if you havent heard them yet I am sure you are going to hear them soon.

Personally when I think of Black Uhuru "One Blood" Junior Reid is what comes to mind.

Imo black uhuru kind of went south after michael rose left. Reid does sound a lot like him tho, its kind of strange. You should check out the albums red, chill out, sensimilla or guess whos coming to dinner they are all really good.
