Donner Summit sunset

This weekend we took a road trip to Donner Summit. Just a quick one to see the snow. It was beautiful. The sunset was awesome. The sky looked on fire, glistening off the snow! These pictures donâ??t do it justice, but I thought I would share some pics with my adventure loving friends.
Smoked a big bowl of hash in the snow, on the summit, followed by a joint. By then it was 20 degrees and getting colder, so time to head down the mountain!

The mountains around me looked awesome today with all the snow..very picturesque (sp).

I only live about 50 miles or so away from Donner. It was a spur of the moment trip, but they can be the best sometimes!:thumbsup:
