I was watching part 1 of the 4 part BBC Documentary called "Time"

The documentary said time is a chemical reaction caused by 1000 brain cells that beat in a regular fashion. My question is, what happens if they go in the brain and alter that regulated flow of brain cells and alter them in some way so that it is distorted. Or what happens if they eliminate all those brain cells so there are no brain cells that cause you to sense time.

Everything is a chemical reaction these days, I wonder if space is also a chemical reaction in the brain...

Time is not really what is in the brain it's the awareness of its passing. It's just an ided we invented to mark our passage through this corporeal existence. There was a show on not too long ago that this guy figured out a way to send a message back in time but it begins only from the point where he gets the thing to work adn can only go back that far. Search it on youtube under time travel.
