Best bulb for a Lumatek ballast?

I am getting a 600 watt 120 volt Lamutek digital ballast. What is the absolute best bulb to run with it? I have heard stories of some bulbs not working and burning out after a month, I have heard a bad thing about hortilux eye. Opinions?

The Eye Hortilux 600 Super HPS is the best 600 watt bulb on the market, IMO. (you didn't say if you are getting a straight HPS or switchable ballast)

Whatever you buy, the ANSI code for 600 HPS is S106. Any quality bulb will have that code # on the package.

ps...eye doesn't make a 600 MH....go figure.

Dutch. that's what I was thnking, I have heard it's burned the bulb within a month in some cases, I'm not sure if that's with the newest ballasts or not. Do you us that bulb with great results? All Lumatek digis are switchable.
