Ever had the privilege of passing on your weed wisdom? Triumphs? Failures? Teaching a willing and eager student the techniques and variations for consuming Miss Mary Jane.
I've had one success. A friend of mine in H.S. was a weed virgin, had the normal apprehensive attitude of anyone who only knows what the government tells them. I told her the truth, and convinced her to smoke. she, like me, was an angry person with family issues, and just overall unhappy but sweet and kind underneath the façade. I felt that she needed to smoke seeing as how it helped me sooooo much. smoked her out for about six months, taught her to roll perfect even tight joints, how to pack bowls, clean weed, eyeball sacks, cleaning pieces, rolling blunts, anything and everything i knew. She moved to Cali after H.S., and hadnt talked to her in about five years. she found me on MySpace, and she made some offhand comment about smoking to the dome, and turns out shes an avid weed smoker. funny as Hell, super cool, super sexy and happy.. Im so proud of her! I did a good job!
I'm even thinking of inviting her to join the site.

The only credit given goes to the plant itself, but you did a good thing by making a life happier. Since I began going green, my life has been given more meaning, I've learned many new things about myself, other people, and the new purpose.

I needed to understand to love it, and so can anyone else.

fuck that. i would never turn anyone on to drugs. Ive made the mistake before and i dont plan on doing it again.
Weed is one thing but it can still fuck someones life up if they cant control themselfs.

"if they can't control them selves"

honestly if a person can not keep there lives coordinated while smoking you have some issues, i smoked bud through high school and got a's and b's and now i am succeding in this world and smoking bud, it does not effect things that are higher priority, all you have to do is not let weed be a higher priority then important things it is not that hard

but no i have never tunred someone on to weed

some people make weed a 'higher priority' and that can lead to them messing up in school, getting fired, or arrested, among other things. If someone had that happen to them and i knew they wouldn't have been in that situation if it wasn' t for me, then I would feel pretty guilty, but thats just me. Anyway i would rather not put myself in that situation and that is why i would not turn someone on to weed.

Indeed! Making a friends life better is always a very good job! Weed can help a LOT of people... and its our task to spread it.
And i also think it would be a very good idea invite her to cann.com... we would be pleased in welcome a stoner girl, and she would enjoy this wonderful place!

Well... i think Hilder deserved her share of the credit... the weed itself would not talk to her friend and make her mind to smoke... would? :p

^Exactomundo!!!
I dont take credit for what the plant helped her become, i take credit for opening her mind to the possibility that there is a safer alternative to say popping pills or doing crazy hardcore drugs like I did. I Knew that I could help her find her way to happiness through weed as it has given me. The Greatests gifts you can give someone, to me is love, happiness, respect, and peace of mind. I just introduced her to the majical plant in the right environment, and with proper info to not get fucked over and maximize her smokeage.. and buzz..

I know what you mean... I have met and hung out with many people who have inadvertantly taken on my personality as their own, for lack of better terms.

Some people I have accidentally or even(Im not proud of it) purposefully molded. Always successfully.

I have turned many people on to weed, and its great. I also love getting old people to smoke that havent smoked in like 25 years.

Cheers, Hilder!

I've got about 4-5 people into weed, none of them are GOOD mates as such, just people i've known for a long time.

One guy used to be so against it i didnt talk to him, but i got him smoking.
Another took 3 tokes on my joint and passed out at a party - but he's got going again.
The drummer of the band i used to be got into it because of me, and so did one of the guitar technicians. [My bass tech never got into it lol!]
My mate jack got into it more heavily than any of the others - me and him still smoke fairly regularly.

If someone wants to try it with me, I let THEM come to ME to signify they're ready. I've turned about 4 people on, I went slowly and comfortably- set and setting, good munchies, safe place, fun stuff, and all of them have had rewarding experiences.

i failed out of highschool, got fired from my job, and got arrested for pot all in a few months... i was letting weed control my life, but in no way do i blame my friends that turned me onto it. i blame myself for letting it go that far. i had other problems, and ws just trying to smoke away the pain. i dont think if you introduce someone to the magics of the plant, that you are responsible for how they treat it. if they decide to abuse it, then its their problem.. you cant blame yourself if your friend that you first started drinking with turns into an alcoholic. its the same thing with smoking. because of everything that happened in my life, i respect smoking pot alot more then before. i dont just see it as a thing to ease depression, or cover up my other problems with just getting stoned. but am respectful of it. when i do get stoned now, its more of a spiritual time.

Learning from my experiences, i have had the chance to teach a few people around me the joys of smoking. before i let them smoke, i told them about weed edicate, the dangers with the law, and told them how to make sure they dont get ripped off, and how to talk to people about it. then i gave them the choice from there. i think if you do get in the situation of teaching a fellow friend how to smoke properly, you should explain the consequenses if they do get busted with it.....

First and foremost marijuana is not a drug it is a way of life, in my opinion. I believe we were originally intended to take advantage of all that nature has to offer us. It is a plant that we can grow on all 7 continents with or without soil, we can ingest it it many ways, and I truly believe if governments would stop demonizing it more people would be open to its use and in turn the entire world would be a better place......................Also it keeps me from being too much of an asshole(according to my girlfriend)......:stoned:
