Take the number pad on a telephone, or the side of a computer. Make a 4 digit number by taking the 4 letters (clockwise or anti-clockwise) in a square or rectangle. For example 2365, 1463 or 9713... Divide the number by 11. Every time the answer will turn out to be a whole number. Why?

I don't know the answer yet myself, although I can find out quite easily by cheating and looking at the answer page. I want t work it out myself first.

Because one is the loneliest number.
Didn't something happen to the Earth's axis in 1111?

I figured it out... but its too lenghty and im too stoned to care about writing it. If you or anybody really wish know, or if dont understand the reason (which is possible, as the reason is a bit complicated...), tell me and i will give a very detailed and step-by-step explanation.
If you want figure out, maybe this tip will help... remember that a number like 1364 can be written as 1000+300+60+4... the rest is up to yours!
