What about the bud we buy on the street's ???

Hey, I was just wondering about somthing. Where I live we have a few different type's of bud.

Mids,Dank,Headies and exotic -

Mids is the lowest grade we can get, full of seeds, My question is, is what type of bud is this ? I mean we all want to grow bud that is fire and has no seeds, so what type of plant would " mids " come from ??? Is it a male plant or a female plant that has been pollenated ??? I mean ive had a female, that got pollen on it and when it came time to cure it was very fire bud just with seeds?

So what kind of grow does mids come from ??? Just curious.

What turns herb into a grade of weed depends on 3 things:
Genetics
Grow technique
Processing

Think of it as a whole range with all possible combinations:
Good genetics grown well and processed carefully will give you the best herb, known as 'headies'.
Decent genetics grown decently but then kiefed off and vac'd, such as the process of turning M39(?), a good strain, into Beasties, which I'd never smoke, well the good stuff gets lost in the crappy processing.
Commercial-style genetics grown carefully will still give you a lot better product than the herb they came out of in many cases, since you will probably let it ripen more fully and then cure it well.

Plants grown from bagseed that is known to have been grown indoors are very very common to see among amateur indoor growers. I'll admit it; I've grown out seeds from The Beast and been satisfied with the result. Once you get your technique down, don't be surprised to get far better product from bagseed than you ever saw it come out of.

if you buy seeds, and grow them out, you have at least, some idea of what the strain is ... if you buy cannabis on the street, you really have no idea what it is ... it's not uncommon to re-name to whatever is selling for the most $$ currently, not to mention the kids selling 'dro' or 'mids', etc (names that mean nothing) ... even some 'reputable' breeders have re-named their strains to 'better-sounding names' to boost sales ... don't play the 'name-game', find something you like and grow it out ... I can't count how many growers up here are selling their 'purple' buds for higher-$$$ ... same old shit they've always grown, but a cold snap turned them purple this Fall :wtf: ... nothin' special, anyway ... good luck :jointsmile:

yeah theres weak shit that sucks but i think as long as its a good green color, covered in red/orange hairs, and white frost its good

however, exotic sounds like something worth trying

Again Stinky seems they pull rip off's the same the world over. There is a west coast city in my country that is getting a bit of a notorious name for running there buds through bubble bags before re drying & selling it.

Well the most stuff that I come across is exotic, and trust me its not a pretty price sometimes. I just got 13.55g for 200(H/Oz). But it is honestly the best stuff I have seen ever... and I have seen a lot of weed in my day.

This is some crazy ass cream of the crop top of the tree colas. Its nice to know I have the best stuff on the westcoast haha.

I remember going to the projects and buying street corner "nickle bags" in the mid 60s. If it was good shit, you try and get more, as quick as you could. If it sucked then oh well, tomorrow's another day and maybe another corner. As we got more "affluent" we'd buy more quantity and shop around more. Much better.

Still the same today, I'm sure.
