Public Enemy is really cool. I always get lost in the beat. They're always fun to listen to on headphones while struting down the street. Very nice.
X-Ray Spex always gives me good vibes. Alot of their songs have a really surreal feeling. Everyone should give them a listen.
I can't ever forget Dick Dale: the king of the surf guitar. Very cool stuff to drive to.

Good tastes I say :P
My favorite band to listen to stoned is Grandaddy. Their style is so unique, you can't compare them to anyone else. The closest I can think off is a blend between ELO and Radiohead, but that's not even close. These guys are amazing musicians, every riff, blip is all part of one big masterpiece.

music sounds better stoned. simple fact. i dont understand why youd be a straight edge musician its just making everything more complicated and less fun. then again i struggle to understand anyone's logic when it comes to not smoking up some good reefer.

ahh if u are really high i suggest against radiohead. those fuckers got me all depressed and ruined my fucking high. those asshole pessimists.
The Grateful Dead are #1. Cream is a good one I didn't see on this thread. Soft Machine kick ass. King Crimson.
actually i do see cream now. but they rock so I will leave them in my post. Phish kick ass also.

Don't ever be ashamed of the music you listen to. That's something i've learned over the years. And never make fun of someone for their preference in music.
Paul Simon is awesome to listen to, "Graceland" was a awsome album, "still crazy after all these years" was o.k.
James Taylor is good music. Nice music to read to, or what have you.
Cat Stevens has got some great songs. When i'm feeling like i want to listen to acousitc mainly, i'll listen to him or Jim Croce. Good stuff.
I'll basically listen to any kind of music when i'm high. Even britney spears.
I've been listening to A lOT of Neil Young lately. That is some goddamn good music. Good lyrics too.

Guns 'N Roses
I listen to more bands than these, but I would have to rate them as some of my favorites.
