Is it legal to place Steamrollers, bongs, pipes etc in checked in luggage? If so, what if I have already smoked out of them? I live in texas and im moving to Cali with my bf shortly. I also just bought a new bubbler that can hopefully come with me.:)

The bubbler should be alright if it's new and clean. I wouldn't take the used pieces though, because of the residual on them. Mailing them isn't a bad idea really, as long as you pack them well.

It's not paraphernalia unless it has residue on it...nearly impossible to completely clean a used piece, but if you can get it spick and span brand new looking..go for it, otherwise I'd just give it or sell it to a friend and get a new one..
not worth a paraphernalia charge..but remember, you can always clean it and then smoke some nice deadly tobacco out of it...cause that stuff's legal so it's not bad

or as mentioned above, you can mail it...but I'd damn sure clean them quite well and do all I could to package it so that the smell isn't revealed..

if they are brand new then you are definitely fine to bring them on a plane
if they are used, soak them in alcohol then rinse thoroughly and make sure that they are utterly free of resin
then you should be legal and free to fly with your pipes (used for tobacco and other LEGAL herbs and mixtures)
