I just planted my seedlings in their first pot's ( 4'' ) and I was wondering how long should it take for them to sprout ?
I have a rubbermaid box that I flipped upside down and installed 6 cool white CFL's with a small intake fan and I have 4 seedling's in their first pots about 3'' away from the lights. When will I see them sprout ?

Anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. At least from my experience anyways.

There is tinfoil in the bigger grow box, and inside the smalled box there is tape, its like a tinfoil tap I guess.

hhhhhaaaaa, this looks extremely familiar :D (maby im wrong), but the tinfoil kinda pointless they dont make a difference u gotta use mylar(like those emergency blankets) to effectivly reflect light, & cup of water for humidity? but otherwise looks good wile there small, theyl prob sprout in 3-10 days

it wont cause any probs, but those mylar sheets make a big difference in reflecting light and there like $1.50 for a 6*4 blanket jmo

Mylar is rather expensive and its usually only at hydroponic stores... I just use flat white paint. Mylar relects like 95% of the light and flat white reflects 80% and cost like 1$. In comparison tin foil only reflects like 50 to 60% and is bad about reflecting heat.

I think you are talking about emergency blankets... Thare are like mylar except they are incredably thin and just a #$@$% to work with... unless you can put it up like wallpaper.. And it rips sooooo easy... But thats just my opinion... they might make thicker ones..

Yeah i got a few packs of that at walmart.. If you use it.... put it on like wallpaper. I tried stapling it to the wall and it literally fell apart. And wrinkled very loudly when the fans where on. And compared to horticultural mylar, Those are very thin... trust me i got a pack of the stuff.

i have the same ones (it was in a diff package, but same seller) works fine, i have it stapled to the room walls, as long as you get it tought it wont make too much noise
(when you staple it to a wall, put a 1X1 piece of duct tape in the spots where your stapling so it wont tare)
