Take a razor blade or sharp knife, cut the pill into several sections (in half, across etc), take a lighter and crush into smaller pieces. For the finest powder work it over good with a razor.

Just form a lil circle with your index finger and thumb the size of a lighter bottom, and place against table. Place pill in hole. Insert lighter and press hard. Just be sure to seal against projectile pill pieces...

i just get a piece of paper and fold the 4 sides up in the air, put the pills in the middle and start crushing them with the butt of my pocket knife. after theyre into a somewhat manageble powder, i use the blade of the knife to chop it up into a fine powder. after that i comb over the entire length of the paper to get the really fine shit that you cant even see (especially with white pills).

just dont be a moron and try to rail vicodin or anything. research what the hell you're doing before you do something stupid.

Well I have snorted Morphine once, I just put the pill wrapped in a dollar bill and crushed it my comb to be honest lol. Like third wack in turn into powder. If you want it REALLY fine after it is crushed, crush it some more.

Insufflation of pills containing acetaminophen is not very effective, since acetaminophen is not water soluble. The ratio of what you want (hydrocodone) to what you don't (acetaminophen, binders, fillers) is about 1:100 or 1 percent, essentially for every milligram of hydrocodone you also get 100mg of shit that is clogging and doing needless harm to your nasal and septum.
All that aside whether snorting is better also depends on the drug. I would take vicodin orally because when I do it I usually take at least 30mg, which is three 10mg tabs or 6 5mg tabs. There was a point when I thought snorting 5mg hydrocodone pills was cool, until I realized it really didn't get me high at all and im sure as hell not going to crush up even three of those pills and try snorting them as it be roughly 1600mg (over a gram) of material, i've always cold water extraction or parachuting to work MUCH better than snorting.
If you're insufflating a substance it is probably for faster onset or to bypass the liver for more intense effects and I assure you with snorting vicodin you get neither, don't get me wrong im sure you'll still get effects but it will probably only be because all that material your nose couldn't absorb drips into your stomach...in which case you might as well have taken the pills orally.

Morphine however is another story since when it is taken orally much of it will be metabolized in the initial pass through the liver, injection or insufflation in this case would be best.

Oxycodone has a higher bioavailability which is why it is prescribed over morphine for pain. Real oxycontin, containing only oxycodone and not in combination with tylenol is more suitable for snorting however since there will be less material clog your nose up while snorting, which means more of the oxycodone can actually get into the bloodstream since it doesn't have hundreds of milligrams of pesky acetaminophen in its way.

If you want to take vicodin in a way to bypass the liver do it rectally.

Drug facts should be known before consuming the substance. In my opinion, everyone that is eating pills should have this information...but, unfortunately, so many stupid kids like to put pills up their nose because it's 'cooler.'

Do yourselves a favor, and research the chemicals you eat/snort/inject before you do so. It might save your life. X_X

I agree with you man, I do research each drug before I try it out. How to take them. The Dosage and what to expect the good and the bad. But it seems that Null goes beyond just researching the basics, but knows a lot more than the usually 'mind explorer'

I've just been researching a few years now and have surpirisingly been able to comprehend and retain much of what I read on the subject of recreational street drugs and pharmaceuticals. I understand that I know quite a bit about these substances, but still feel a have a lot more to learn before im satisfied. Much of this comes from Erowid, rxlist, Wikipedia, The Rhodium (Where has it gone?) and a countless number of other websites as well as some books and my own personal experiences.

I used to think drugs were bad too, this changed thanks to my tendency to always want to do the opposite of what im told and Tool of course. In a freshmen highschool health class the teacher told us to write an essay on what we think the government should do about drugs and I figured he would get bored with all the "I think drug users should be put to death" type papers...so I wrote about how legalization might benefit society and to my amazement was able to think of several reasons ignoring that they were "dangerous". Then I started looking into the matter myself and found most drugs weren't dangerous at all, especially if put in comparision with legal commodities. From that day it was clear to me that government, teachers and authority figures in general should not be trusted.

I probably had something else to add, but have forgotten. Oh well.

I was given Percocet 7.5 mg. (I was taking two every couple of hours for real pain). I'm out and the doctor won't prescribe more. I do have some Oxycontin though. If I crush up and swallow 15 mg. of Oxy, will it have the same effect?

Percocet and Oxycontin both contain Oxycodone, so yes you should get the same effect.
