hey so I've been wanting to join some activist groups and have a few questions. One could someone give me a list of some groups, like NORML, MMP and others? Also I was looking into joining NORML but was wonder how long are you a member for, like say I was to choose to be a Citizen Advocate, how long of a membership is that?
Thanks for any help.

That citizen advocate donation isn't really a membership, it's just a donation. Though you do get a NORML Freedom Card.

I would just look for your local NORML chapter and get involved through there.

Good luck!

are you sure that its not a membership, because if you go to https://secure.norml.org/join/ it says membership in the basic choose and regular so wouldn't Citizen Advocate be as well. But good suggestion about going to my local NORML chapter thanks.

NORML is second on my list ... I am throughly impressed with the work MPP (Marijuana Policy Project) is doing ... while I am barely getting by on Social Security Disability, I do manage to send MPP $20 now and then (EVERYBODY can afford an occasional $20) ... they're the ones primarily responsible for getting all these medical MJ propositions on the state ballots, etc  ... so far, MPP has a damned good batting record, I strongly urge you folks to support them, they're very seriously fighting the 'good fight' for us all
