And I smoked 3 loads out of my one-hitter at 7am in my small town :) It was nice seeing people trudge to work in suits, and my riding home, nice little buzz, and going to get McD's breakfast after my one-hitter.

Yes folks, I am now thoroughly stoned, and I am going to shower and go to B.E.D.

Iv'e got of nightshift as well, I only work nights and have done for 11 years or so, I have adapted to the night, it really is my day although people think it a bit strange when I tell them I sat down to a curry at 3 in the morning for my lunch.
I consider myself to be a creature of the night I work better at night and feel happier in my job, what I can't understand is how people manage to work rotational/split shifts where you can't establish a proper balance, that I would find difficult.
I find a feelgood factor driving home in the morning and seeing people going to work as well and I am heading for bed.

Cheers

I used to work nights and on my day off,I couldnt sleep,I'd be driving around town at like 2am.
People would think me and my co workers were weird, around 9am while they were getting bagels and coffee,we'd be drinking up heinekens.

I can so relate NightCrewMan

I sell drinks at a place called MexiCali till 5am, smoke a spliff with my boss till 6am, and then amusedly look upon all the suits drearly trundling to work in central Auckland as I cruise home on my scooter, stoned, happy, and ready for bed and some R and R until 8pm tomorrow

My girl works night shifts stocking in the same store I work first shift in, and when they have call offs or exceptionally large truckloads the night manager calls me around 10 or 11 pm and asks if I want to work any or all of a night shift that evening, as pure overtime. It's fun for a few hours but, much like staying up late, it becomes stale and difficult to continue past about 3-4am. Most of the novelty comes from me being familiar with the store during the day, and how different it is at night when no one is there.

I like it, driving home stoned, in a nice warm car, blasting Floyd, then taking a shower with the sun streaming in the window, change into some fresh jammies, heat the electric blanket up, one more smoke before bed, and out light a light!

The best part of working night shift, was getting home in the morning and lighting a bowl on my back porch.

yeah I dont know what it is, im usually not a big fan of wake and bakes but when I get home in the wee hours it always seems appropriate to have a smoke and chill before I crash

I work nights. The reverse of that is that those people are going home when it's time for me to go to work.

I used to always work nightshifts & the best feeling ever was getting stoned after work and smiling with the rising sun as the town awoke around us yet to begin their day:jointsmile:

I miss those nights/mornings:(

I work janitorial at a Wal-mart on the night shift and its not that bad. Been doing it for a couple of years cause i'm usually up all night anyways and I make $2.00 an hour more than the people that work days make so no complaints there. ;-)

It's nice to just get off work, relax in front of the computer, and have a fresh bowl of ganj.
