Aight, so heres the dizzeal (thats slang for deal) I got drug tested...once again they caught me when I woke up late and didn't have a sufficient amount of water intake. Needless to say, I failed, this was my second failed drug test for school (exactly a year later!)
So now I'm in counseling, I'm such a junkie! Shoot me up man. Anyway this chick who I'm goin' to actually believes all this old propaganda. She gave me the sheets just before I left so I'm just now lookin' at them and WOW. Cannabis reverses your gender? Holy crap no wonder I have a vagina, I gotta get that checked.
So any of you intellectuals out there wanna help a brotha'- I mean sista' out with some research? Heres the 2 propaganda sheets I got.
I only want good, reliable, sourced information. Stuff from doctors, even government sites, experiments to back it up. Nothin' like high times 'cause I know she wouldn't take that seriously, not that high times is wrong but you know how ignorant people are.
Thanks in advance, and toke one for me because I need to figure out my tokin' situation, thinkin' once a week on the weekend so I have 3 days to get it out, gonna get some home tests to see how I fast it gets out (I'm skinny and drink mad water so I feel lucky, passed 'em before...)

Amazon.com: A Primer of Drug Action: Books: Robert M. Julien (http://www.amazon.com/Primer-Drug-Action-Robert-Julien/dp/0716706156/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196818188&sr=8-2)
Buy this book. I used it in my Psychopharmacology class in college (and I went to a really prestigious college). It gives a neutral, balanced look at the benefits and true risks of drug use. You will see side effects listed but there is nothing fabricated about it. This book initially convinced ME to change my own position on whether cannabis should be legalized - before I ever tried the drug for myself. In fact, this book made me feel comfortable enough scientifically with cannabis to try it without fear.
It's a great textbook. It does require intellect and education to understand drug metabolism, but a lot of the information that you will need about risks and such is in layman's terms.

Good deal granny, though I could do without the pot ads on some of the sites. I'll be sure to print some of those out next time I have to go in.

About as plausible as saying that masturbation causes blindness and palm hair.

Search for marijuana articles. Everything is a professional and accurate source. Most of these would cost anywhere from $20-$150 bucks strait from the internet. They're all from medical journals and stuff, written by doctors. Definitely give this a try. Have fun man and good luck!

1st page, 1st paragraph... pure bullshit...
2) But ... isn't today's marijuana much more potent than it was in the Sixties? (Or, more often ... Marijuana is 10 times more powerful than it was in the Sixties!)
GOOD! Actually, this is not true, but if it were, it would mean that marijuana is safer to smoke today than it was in the Sixties. (More potent cannabis means less smoking means less lung damage.) People who use this statistic just plain do not know what they are talking about. Sometimes they will even claim that marijuana is now twenty to thirty times stronger, which is physically impossible because it would have to be over 100% Delta-9-THC. The truth is, marijuana has not really changed potency all that much, if at all, in the last several hundred years. Growing potent cannabis is an ancient art which has not improved in centuries, despite all our modern technology. Before marijuana was even made illegal, drug stores sold tinctures of cannabis which were over 40% THC.
Even so, the point is moot because marijuana smokers engage in something called `auto- titration.' This basically means smoking until they are satisfied and then stopping, so it does not really matter if the marijuana is more potent because they will smoke less of it. Marijuana is not like pre-moistened towelettes or snow-cones. There is nothing forcing marijuana smokers to smoke an entire joint.
Experienced marijuana users are accustomed to smoking marijuana from many different suppliers, and they know that if they smoke a whole joint of very potent bud they will get `TOO STONED'. Since being `too stoned' is a rather unpleasant experience, smokers quickly learn to take their time and `test the waters' when they do not know how strong their marijuana is.

i haven't bothered to read the whle thing, but i bet if you do, you'll find every sentence on those pages are a lie or over exageration in some shape or another.... just read a paragraph, get the jist of the idea and type it in google....
as an example, of the first paragraph i just typed 'marijuana more potent then in the 60's'
The 3 - 4 biggest arguments the government use, have ALL been clinicly proven to be false. It's all fabricated shit.
Cannabis does not cause ANY form of cancer.
Cannabis doesnt not kill brain cells [apart from glioma]
Cannabis does not cause schizophrenia
Cannabis has been proven [in a 12 year study] not to be a gateway drug.
Almost EVERYTHING, if not everything we get told about cannabis by the government is crap. PURE crap. Infact, if you got some shit, boiled it into a liquid, reduced it untill what you have is extremely strong pure shit, it's STILL not as bad as what comes out of the governments mouths.
