Hello,

This is my first time grow, only growing a few hoping one will be female. Very inexperienced but I have done my research.

I would like your opinion on how I should treat my babies. They are 15 days old, they have been under CLFs they're whole lives, 24/0 light period. I have recently moved them under 600W HPS and they are on a 20/4 timer.

I just made the move today, and am wondering if maybe they are too young for the HPS. Please help!

Thanks!!

No such thing.....distance is the key, I keep my 600 3'-4' from the young ones.

15 days is about when i move seedlings out from under the t-5 and into hid lights. that's when i start 1/4 strength nutes too.

Turn that light back to 18 hours That will give them a bit of a break. I think your on the right track!

i usto be extremely loyal to the 18/6 light ctcle, but after some experimentation, i would have to go with 24/0, feel like it decreases grow time dramitcally

I don't like HPS for young plants. It's too red. They'll tend to stretch more than if you had them under a light with a blue spectrum.
