here's a FREE utility I use on my computer: Free Hide Folder: a free security software to hide folders. (http://www.cleanersoft.com/hidefolder/free_hide_folder.htm)
it allows you to hide files, folders, even an entire hard drive, if you choose ... excellent to hide your Grow Logs, photos, etc from prying eyes ... it even allowed me to change it's own name, in my 'Programs' list, to avoid attracting attention to itself ... cool little stealth tool :thumbsup:

I use a virtual drive utility called Truecrpyt. Had a friend get busted for piracy and this program + 12 character password kept him from going to prison for years upon years.

yes, I also used to run TrueCrypt ... I wasnt smart enough to use it right, and 'lost' some important files ... I'm sure it was my own fault, not the program's ... this FreeHide Folder is real user-friendly, simple ... just be sure to use a multiple-digit password, combining letters, symbols, numbers, etc (make 'em work for it ! ) ... :smokin:

really, they must have been dumb cops, its easy to crack anything if you can remove the hdd.

I Dont think you know how Encryption works, all removing the hard drive does is allow you to access the data on your own hardware and OS, it will not help if the data is garbled

yeah, sorry i thought it was just a password protect type of system. but then i looked at the sight and saw the encription algorithmns that it was running and realised the error of my statement and its free too.
