Should I be worried?

I know a friend who just got an eighth. This stuff was REALLY sticky. It practically sticks to the bag. High was great but is there such a thing as TOO sticky? The bud is not dry at all and the stem just bends. I have seen plenty of bud before but I have never seen anything like this. Everything weighed out fine but it just looks like three middies. Should I be worried? Should I just dry it? All I have is a camera phone with me and the picture sucked.

Sounds like it hasn't been dried and cured properly.
Some growers push it out when it's still wet because obviously it weighs more before it's dried.

Just what physcocat said thats what we call "cashcrop" there like fuck it we got our shit with less chemicals that has been dryed/cured right. Smoking wet bad is terrible on the lungs, plus the dealer is a jackass/selfish person the bud isnt half as good as it could be. It would all be good if it was sold half as cheap. i would hate sitting on big ammounts of that kind of stuff due to mold/having coustomers coming back to me. Heres a tip take a o corner of a paper bag and let it dry out over night in a cool dark room. I have done this a few times and i really like the results.

Yeah, you got ripped I'd say. Bud can lose up to 75% of its weight just from evaporated moisture. Ready-to-smoke buds have stems that have a nice "crack" to them when you break them apart. I'd take it back, but I doubt that someone who sold that crap would actually take the time to care about your concerns. If there's nothing to do but save the bud, I place it a wooden box for a couple days with a packet of that salt or gelatin beads that come in shoe boxes and what not. If you can, weigh it before and after to see the difference.

What you've got, is horrible wet shitty bud thats half the potency it could have been, and a damn site less than you paid for.

I dont know man. Ive had wet weed before and when its the only hookup you have at the time i just smoke it. It really sucks though and I dont think ill ever buy it in the future. I usually leave it out for a few hours for it to dry up a bit, otherwise its really hard to light and just a horrible consistency because how sticky it is.
